![]() ![]() ![]() Good luck!ĭid the same, my Warrior completed it at ~905 with BiS DPS legendaries, my Monk was ~915 with 4p and crappy legendaries, overall I found the challenge to be miles easier as BrM compared to the struggles I had as Warrior.ġ ) Chi Burst - I personally didn't use this but some people recommend using Chi Burst to pick up the Nether Adds after they gather on Velen, I stuck with Tiger's Eye (?) for the additional DoT and HoT.Ģ ) RJW - always keep this active and do a quick Chi Torpedo to gather up adds.ģ ) Interrupt as many Mind Rends as possible. ![]() I tried it many times and all of the mechanics eventually became second nature to me and the fight was extremely simple after that, and it became a matter of everything lining up properly. Other than that, stay calm and don't give up, it takes a lot of practice. This places you right on the edge of the puddle meaning you could potentially not even take 1 tick of damage or be slowed at all.Ĩ) stay moving, the Infernal's smash killed me way more times than I want to admit, but by continuously moving they can't hit oh because they will always cast the smash where you are, and not where you are going to be. Phase 2: 5) Velens Healing orbs can be super unreliable at times, use them simply to get back to full health during phase 1, this maximizes the amount of Velen orbs you will have in phase 2, from there once Niuzao was finished tanking I used everything possible to interrupt Kruul's Annihilates because that is where the damage comes from.Ħ) Interrupt Twisted Reflection, if not be ready with a Velen Orb to remove the debuff, if Kruul gets 2-3 attacks on you it's likely you won't kill him before he One shots you.ħ) Rollin out of the Green puddles is ideal, but, if you continue to run and jump, if you are in the air when Kruul lands you won't be slowed, and the damage won't apply until you land. 35% health is such a magic number for Brewmaster tanking. (Also keep in mind that when you are damaged below 35% health you instantly spawn a healing orb, so using healing elixir right after that puts you back above 35% meaning another one can spawn instantly. ![]() Instead wait until you have roughly 6+ orbs and then use all of them at once. Don't use the orbs as soon as they spawn because in a string of bad luck this could cost you your life. On my Guardian Druid, I used the purple beams that Kruul spawns, to push me out of the green puddles he spawns.Īs for the damage that Varis puts out, at first I struggled a lot with his damage and my lack of self healing, but the 4 piece helped a lot. Use everything in the scenario to your advantage!! As long as you are towards the middle of the platform you can use the eyes to reposition yourself quickly. Going along with the first point, make sure that Niuzao is up when Kruul spawns and pop lust and prolonged. His burst damage is insane, but more importantly, for 45 seconds Varis will not attack you meaning you can just stand in the aura and dps, the same goes for when Kruul Spawns, Niuzao will tank roughly 2 Annihilates making the fight insanely easy, the first time I ever tried this talent, I actually beat the challenge. Use the talent Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox. Brewmaster/Guardian Druid main here, I've completed the scenario on both of these tanks and from experience Brewmaster, while having more mobility, and less mechanics to deal with during the fight, this scenario is much more challenging on Brewmaster. ![]()
